Sophia is always willing to answer questions I have. She reviews my conditions and provides info or changes my medication to improve them.

I have seen Sophia Thiyagarajan for over a year now, following months of scary episodes of having a racing heart. From my first visit she was extremely professional, thorough, and respectful in her assessment and diagnosis of my condition. Under her care my health has improved dramatically. I would recommend her to anyone needing cardiac treatment and diagnosis.

My husband was seen by this provider and his test results were explained to him as extremely severe. We sought a second opinion from a Cardiologist that properly explained that his condition shown on the labs was nothing to worry about. We spent time and many many tears thinking he was close to death. Do not recommend! As much as I believe CNPs are a huge part of the solution for our medical care crisis in New Mexico, I also believe that we need to consult MDs when life and death interpretations of labs and treatment plans are on the line for our loved ones. I asked the clinic for the process to file a complaint but they never got back to me like they said they would.

I was treated poorly by her aswell as other optum providers I sought care from. I found many hurtful comments made on my visit records. Lies about medications we're posted..when I asked about it she said "insurance requirement. It settles my experience with optum they are not truthful, professional, and definitely NOT patient centered in their care. Optum care has been a nightmare...
