I'm not sure what Dr. Stem specializes in, but my husband and I came to 1 session of Marriage Counseling which basically made everything 10 times worse and I almost filed for divorce. Dr. Stem had us tell what we felt our problem is, but it was more of her facilitating drama than helping. She took sides with my husband and believed whatever he said that I am controlling, violent, have partum depression, just a bunch of things that weren't true. I felt like I came there for help bc my husband refuses to make more than just 20k or help me with anything, instead he gaslighted me and deflected making false accusations, and Dr. Stem validated it so he got worse and if I questioned him, I was crazy etc. I learned more about gaslighting and that I needed to leave. He realized that he was about to lose his family and has now been trying change. Dr. Stem made me feel very helpless, misunderstood, lost, and enabled a toxic spouse without really knowing me or the truth. Thankfully I had support
