Shiela Barnes is HORRIBLE.
Had a horrible experience with her. She contradicts her self and her treatments are outdated. Bring your child somewhere else!

Autism
She fails to teach parents or therapists how to properly use talkers or pecs and then blames them, though she has no idea how to use a talker herself (as we asked we was taught to apply everything at home as well) and the computer system used to watch childrens progress was just learned by her a month ago (according to her) she preferred paper and pencil. The inadequate care leads to little progress.

Doesnt stay on task with goals and switches up emails and in person discussion to something inaccurate.

Dr. Barnes is exceptional! She was awesome with my son and has so much knowledge on Autism. My family is so blessed to have found her and to be able to start treatment for our son. The line therapist that will be seeing him also is so sweet and caring. They have so much compassion and are truly excited to help children. I could not have asked for anything better and so looking forward to see the progress in him.
