Sheela delivered my son in 2010. After so many years I feel compelled to recognize her work with much gratitude. She made me feel like a sister and was very warm, caring and very knowledgeable about natural childbirth. Almost 2 weeks overdue, I was scheduled for an induction. My family had all been struck by flu like symptoms so the induction was postponed to a later date. A few days later I went into labor and Sheela delivered my son while I positioned myself in a way I felt was natural to me.

I had an awful experience with my obgyn and realized that my hope of having a natural birth would likely be impossible with this doctor and at Moses Taylor hospital. Sheela took me on in my last trimester and made the end of my pregnancy much easier and the natural birth I had hoped for possible.
