Interrupted me to yell 'YOU DONT TREAT FIBROMYALGIA WITH OPIOIDS.' I don't have fibromyalgia. She said 'Then why is it in your chart?!' Could someone with crayons explain to her it is called misdiagnosis of something that is a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning it is only supposed to be diagnosed after all other causes of pain are eliminated. Yet my Xrays and MRI show radiculopathy with nerve root compression, moderate to severe degenerative disc disease with osteophyte complexes in 4 locations, chronic hip bursitis with loss of bone mass, and arthritis, arthrosis throughout my spine, and scoliosis. It's not my fault being a middle aged woman made an NP leap to an unfounded diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Two MDs explicotly disagreed! I also have peripheral neuropathy, 4 autoimmune diseases that cause muscle pain, electrolyte issues. I had a high level of pain at an appt because statins gave me rhabdomyolysis! She'd have known that without her bias and refusal to see I'm no addict, I HURT.

Saw her at Bristol Pain Management office. All the docs have left cuz they were in trouble for over prescribing. There’s not even a doc on site now, just 2 NP’s who consult with docs at the JC site. So she tries to tell me that my MRI shows nothing (I have fibro but also have DDD, scoliosis which causes debilitating pain, osteoarthritis, and honestly a laundry list of other things that would take up this whole space. But she says my MRI doesn’t show anything. She’s crazy I’ve been diagnosed prev by ortho, chiro, and PCP!! She says I only have fibro, is wondering if I’m really even in pain, and is going to wean me off the pain meds completely and recommends seeing some holistic doc which I don’t even believe in that crap! I told her they already tried lowering my dose once in the past that my BP sky rocketed from the pain so she prescribed clonidine (bp meds) to mask that and said it was withdrawals not the pain. She is a JOKE! Switched practices! Only family could’ve given the 5 stars
