Shawn is an amazing Christian counselor. I would recommend him to anyone really serious about seeking help & making changes in your life. He really listens & is very intuitive. He takes the issues a client brings in & develops an individualized plan for helping you work through them. I have seen Shawn Maguire for various issues over time including marriage, parenting, anxiety, & depression. I have always had positive results & have never been disappointed. His rates are also very reasonable.

I feel like he claims to care about people because of the money he gets. He charged my family almost $300 for the first session because it was an introduction. Each session after that has been around $150. He makes me uncomfortable and is very intrusive. Not the kind of counselor who would listen to you and hear about what you really have to say. Made to keep all discussions behind closed doors because of his very unconventional techniques. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
