I saw Shannon White for around 2 years and i left her therapy on a hurtful note. She uses Tarot cards with blanket terms that are harmful, not helpful. (Martyr, Victim etc...) I asked her not to use them and i was ignored. She reportedly knew EMDR but we did 1 maybe 2 quick instances of that and never resumed. When i inquired why she said 'You were blocked'. (?) She also had a trainee sit in on a session with us without me being asked first. I found it very uncomfortable. Lastly she talks about her own personal life quite often and much of it felt unnecessary. When i told her why i felt it best not to continue coming in, Shannon never replied or gave me the decency of any kind of apology or reasoning. I've had a few therapists in my life and
