Shannon Steiner

Lacks bedside manners. Was very putting and short kept telling me why she’s seeing me. I’ve been waiting to see Dr. Orr for 3 months as As he works under him and then 2 weeks prior my appointment the office calls me and tells me Dr. Orr is not available to see me as a new patients and referred me to Shannon. Total waste of my time since I knew Dr. Orr at Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital. During the time I was in the office Shannon Steiner kept leaving the room. I don’t know why? I think because she never did her homework prior seeing me and why I was there so she was practically clueless. She does not bother to listen always cutting me off while I was trying to answer her questions. I even told her that I probably don’t need this. I was practically saying to her, that she’s short and unreasonable. She should seek different profession or maybe stay as a nurse a little longer and work on skills being a little more compassionate.

Ms. Steiner did my annual Medicare check up. Would not renew my meds that I have been taking for many years for more than 6 months. Discontinued some she felt that I didn't need. I told her that I was having some urinary issues. Told me I would have to make another appointment for that even though I was THERE with an appointment.

Poor bedside manner and was very put out since my doctor was not on her team. Kept making comments not sure why she is seeing me and with my issues I should have gone to the hospital since it takes too much time for the tests I need to have done. She had very little time or empathy for me and rushed me out the door as soon as she could. She was not concerned for my well being. She made several comments that she has several other patients to see and made me feel my issue was not important.
