Knowledgeable, insightful
Our family began working with Sean following difficulties that surfaced after divorce. Sean provided guidance on parenting and navigating behavioral and emotional difficulties. His ability to connect with kids and teens is impressive. I have continued to follow up with Sean for other issues and always appreciate his support, guidance, and willingness to help.

Very Helpful
I've seen Sean a multitude of times. For over 3 years I have seen him, whether it was when needed or weekly. He's a good Christian, and he knows what's best for me, even if I don't realize it at the moment. He is willing to talk about anything, and has advice for pretty much everything.

WOMEN BEWARE
I saw Sean for about two months. At first, I felt as though my life had changed for the better! I fell for all of his advice. He was manipulative and crossed the line in ways that I considered reporting. Women especially, PLEASE beware before seeing him. I am a Christian, so I had no issues with Sean's approach to God = Love. He remarked that patients always eventually came back to him once they realized that they "needed" him, but he put me off from therapy for a long time. I was left disregarding what I had learned in that couple months because I genuinely felt as though he had manipulated me to feel a certain way for his own personal gain. He WILL NOT listen to you and is a master at getting you to think a specific way. Sean feels as though he knows everything and will heavily guide your sessions. I often come back to these reviews to see if anyone has had a similar experience to mine, but I felt it was time to write my own. It's not "the advice YOU need", it's about what HE needs.

He isn't for everyone, but he's right for me.
I have been seeing Sean weekly for a month now. The other reviews are correct in the fact that he is very direct, and he doesn't mince words with people. If you are looking for a therapist to placate, agree with, or tell you how to breathe, this guy isn't for you. He is honest, direct, and very sure of himself. He will not say what you want to hear, but what you NEED to hear. He provides quality feedback, but his delivery isn't designed for the pearl clutching, easily offended types. Sean has provided me with a space to express myself comfortably, which I haven't been able to do with other, more traditional, therapists. He isn't for everyone, but he is honest with his thoughts. If you're looking for someone who is more traditional and gentle, Sean isn't for you. If you're looking for radical advice and profound development at a fast paced rate, he IS the person for you. If you're atheist, just...give the guy a chance. The concept comes around after a few sessions.

Awful
I found him to be rude, arrogant, and clueless. First comment was I bet you can’t let him be since you had an umbilical cord attached, referring to letting him play Legos. He didn’t listen to me as a parent and refused to let me talk. Instead assumed the issue was bad parenting, lack of boundaries and smothering issues. Which could not have been further than the truth. At one point he explained the trajectory my son was on. It involved him killing me and being in jail. If it is possible to give negative stars I would.

He could use quite a bit more training. He is obviously set in whatever ways he already has and his attitude is condescending an arrogant.
