Dr. Carlile was thorough and told me a few things about my eyes that other doctors have not even noticed. He listened to what I had to say and was very prompt and friendly.

He seems like a kind and friendly person. However, at the outset of our appointment I told him about repeated experiences of prior doctors OVER-prescribing for my lens correction. A doctor in his own group explained to me how that could happen, and he found no notes from her. When my glasses came in they were MUCH too strong -- non-starters for reading. He examined me again, staying closer to my previous prescription and now they work -- but I don't truly believe they are true fits.

He recommended multi-focal contacts to me when other doctors didn't even tell me they existed or suggest them. He's made life easier for me.
