Greatest ever
I’m unsure why he has bad reviews. My whole family is with Dr Goebel. He was the only one to Diagnose my condition after 15 years of Dr trying too. He takes extremely good care of my family and is the most attentive Dr I’ve ever been too. He notes and charts every conversation and comes into the appointment with very good awareness of your health. He also cares what you are on and is always thinking of alternatives for drugs etc. Honestly the best Doctor in the city and who knows maybe state even. I’m very fortunate to have him and would not be here today without him. Life saver. Gifted. He went over and beyond to figure out my rare condition and spent many an hour investigating what I could have. Then nailed it. Thank you for being so concerned with your patients . I hope you get to read this because you mean so much to me and my family!!!

Spends a significant amount of time with me, more than I have ever had in a doctors office before and I am 65 years old and have seen a lot of doctors. He addresses my concerns in a thoughtful manner and we have a discussion about my healthcare he includes me in the process which is important to me. I am very comfortable having him as my doctor.

My minor 16 year old daughter had a well child exam appointment and asked to go in to visit alone due to privacy. She called me after a few minutes of being in there and was frantic. She also called her mom and asked her to drive there from Myrtle Creek. She proceeded to tell me the guy was in her face accusing her of anorexia and bolemia due to low weight. While I was in there he accused her of being on methamphetamines and had her take a urine test. Then he proceeded to tell us she was dying. He is not her normal provider and he recommended she get a blood test. She was so freaked out from him it took me almost 2 months to get the blood test done. She asked that I not take her back to see him ever again. If you are going to be working with the public this is not a way to treat people. Especially children. I will also be filing a medical grievance on this matter.

I was very pleased with my office visit with Dr. Gobel. He was very professional and was well informed on my prior medical history. He suggested a remedy for one of the problems that I am having with swelling of the legs and feet. He was very cooperative in writing new prescriptions. I will certainly continue to use him as my medical provider in the future. As a new patient I could not have been more pleased with Dr. Gobel.

If there was a lower rating available, I'd have given it to him. Scott didn’t give a damn about me, was openly abusive, concerned only about himself. Scott tried hard to limit my options to spinal fusion when a less impactive surgery would do. He refused to help me get a 2nd opinion, even canceling a meeting to discuss it after I had paid for it and while I was in the waiting room; I had to literally force him into it. Then, yelled at me for OHSU's slow scheduling and treated me like some bum.
