My doctor referred me to see an endocrinologist after test results showed signs of hypoglycemia. I went to see Sarita S Dhakal and I've never been more disappointed with a medical provider in my life for the following reasons: 1. She was rude, condescending and short with me. At one point during my appointment she said I should seek mental health care. While I'm a firm believer in mental health treatment, Sarita had no basis to make this recommendation. I spoke to her about my blood glucose for roughly 20 mins. She knows nothing about me personally. She was out of line professionally. 2. She made zero attempt to identify the underlying cause of my symptoms and was quick to prescribe meds without doing any further testing. 3. I requested some resources/guidelines on what to eat in order to prevent my blood glucose from dropping to the 40's overnight as it had been doing.
