I find it funny how judgmental those who have been counseled by Sarah Thacher are in these reviews. The paperwork referenced probably had to do with being a drunk driver and having to have information submitted so they can get back on the road and be super smart driving around endangering others lives. What does your paperwork have to do with honestly and integrity get a dictionary. Common sense tells you that if business's and schools are closed counseling services throughout the state are also closed interesting to know this person didn't have a phone to use before waiting that amount of time. As I stated before Sarah Thacher has helped thousands of people in so many ways. She has been named woman of the year in her field, made house calls when clients could not make it to the office but needed her help and answers her phone at any hour to help clients in need. This woman goes above and beyond and those saying otherwise clearly have no concept of reality. -Baffled by the entitlement.

Find someone else that is professional, has integrity and is efficient with your time.

On my second visit I waited outside her office for at least a half an hour after a snow day. I called after I left and it was then that she informed me that she closed when the local schools closed. I personally think that this would be important information to know up front. She also didn't seem to be very perceptive, kept asking about details I had already stated. Left me with the feeling that she was only half listening during meetings that are state mandated.

Very unprofessional, late filing paperwork, she is very misleading, tells you one thing, but does another. She does not provide a confidentiality! She takes information that you have told her and turns around into something it is NOT!! Without asking for more detail or verification.

There is no staff it is just Sarah. Since being a paying customer, I paid out of pocket, no insurance. I feel she does not follow the definition of the license that she holds to perform her job to the clients best interest. The state requires paperwork to be completed and sent in on time, in my case that did not happen. In fact it was a full week past that deadline. I would not recommend her for anything requiring honesty, integrity, professionalism.
