I had an appointment with Sarah after three weeks of being assigned to her (and four months of essentially patient abandonment). We were scheduled for an hour. And as I was talking, she seemed to not really be interested in what I had to say. However, when I mentioned something about my job and needing to find a new one with new insurance, she circled and asked the questions not about the job, but the insurance and what it looked like. When does the new insurance start. 30 minutes into our session - it basically became someone else's problem. I felt completely abandoned and as though what I was actually there to talk about did not matter.
