Dr. Sarah Hassan, PHD

This is a very manipulative doctor. She had written me earlier in the pandemic to ask if I wanted to book a session remotely and told me that I could contact her whenever I needed. I did so sporadically and found the phone sessions helpful. She then calls me on the phone out of the blue one day when we had not even booked a session to tell me that I must book sessions with her every week or else we would have to stop treatment until I could come weekly. I told her I couldn't afford it. She then told me that she wanted me to sign a consent so that she could speak to my son's therapists because she couldn't be "sure" that he was receiving the "care" he needed. I told her that he was receiving care from his therapists and that he was not her patient. She persisted that she could not be "sure." I found her cold-calling me to make more money insulting and her request to meddle in my son's affairs manipulative. I terminated therapy with her.
