Sarah Derubeis, FNP-C

First of all, Sarah was fine, and maybe a great nurse. This review is about the front office. Before my first appointment, they were unsure if they took my insurance. After some looking into, they called me back and said "Yes, we do take your insurance" and we set up my first appointment. (My insurance said the same at the time.) Now, at my 2nd visit, they said my first wasn't covered and I owe $160. They blamed it on the insurance and told me to call them so they could cover it. When I asked "What if they don't?", they said they could drop it to $120. So now they want to charge me $120 and all I got was my time wasted and my care postponed. I think it's very unprofessional to avoid owning up to a mistake they made and still try to charge me for it. I'm still hopeful they do the right thing and eat the cost, but so far they've handled it very poorly. The insurance is 'looking into it' now, but we all know how difficult dealing with insurance is. Yet another loss for me in this.

Sarah DeRubeis is an exceptional provider. She is personable and kind. Sarah has a great bed side manner and highly intelligent. Sarah has helped my thyroid and hormones to become balanced. She treats me as a person not just a number. I highly recommend her!

Be careful about seeing her for hormones. Check all your records to see what diagnoses she puts in the. She up-charged insurance by putting a false diagnosis in mine that I was never even tested for and had no symptoms of...it has caused me major problems trying to get my medical record fixed.

I'm glad to see Sarah is back at Full Circle Health. I see Sarah for hormone treatment, as well as general medical care. I have always had confidence in her medical decisions, and concern for my well-being. I have never felt rushed during my appointments. She always coordinates with the physicians (Dr Shreder and Dr Frye) if a complex problem appears- so I have confidence that they also know what is going on with my care.
