I just met Sara for the first time, and she is truly amazing at what she does. I experienced a level of listening from a psychiatrist that I have never encountered before; she genuinely valued my insights on how my medication was affecting me negatively. After years with my original psychiatrist, I sought a more accurate diagnosis and a holistic approach to address my underlying emotional issues. Sara respected and valued my opinion, treating me with the dignity I deserved, unlike my previous doctor. I am filled with hope after facing the unimaginable loss of a child to suicide. For so long, I felt engulfed in sadness and depression, forgetting what it was like to feel good. Over the years, I lost hope that I would ever heal. However, Sara is providing me with a new outlook, and I feel genuinely respected. I cannot express enough what a great advocate she is and how much admiration I have for her. When I return to the counseling field after regaining my health, I will undoubtedly refer any client in need of psychiatric help to her. I know she is a physician assistant nurse practitioner who excels in her field better than any psychiatrist I’ve ever met.
