I so can relate to the other review. I felt the same way. After a few sessions she made several really cold remarks. One was that "I am glad you are getting medical care you need. Maybe if your family member had they would not have passed." I called her out on this and she talked around it. Later in a session she said "You should be further along with your grief after 6 or 8 weeks. I am not sure I can help you." I was not aware that grief had a time frame. When she scheduled again she said, "If you choose to cancel, I won't be offended. I have back to back appointments." So when I did cancel the next one, she replied "I will cancel that for you." No asking if I wanted to reschedule or hope you are okay or even thank you. She complained every single session about her work load and how she had to do everything on a computer and she did not know how. She would reference material, but not be able to provide it because she didn't know how to download or send it. Not a good exp

I had hope that she could actually help me with PTSD. She seemed to be invested in my treatment, would even text me methods and youtube videos she thought would help. But on the third visit, after saying to me "I won't get mad at you if a treatment doesn't work for you, we will find one that does together" and in the MIDDLE of my describing my trauma, she said "I'm not the one to treat you, so I'm going to shut you down. Goodbye." She does not accept questions about her methods. There was no warning that she was about to terminate treatment, no protocol followed. She did not give me a referral. She also does not like people who talk a lot, I had to interrupt to get a word in and this seemed to irritate her. I don't feel I'll ever be able to trust another therapist after her damaging treatment of me. She needs some kind of sensitivity training or to be recertified to treat PTSD, if she was ever certified at all. Now she is just another trauma.
