We had a strange experience with Sandy. She started with bragging about how she was infringing on her non-compete by hinting to her old patients from her old practice to where she was currently practicing because she was "so great and they loved her so much". We felt she spent a lot of time talking about herself but we gave her the benefit of the doubt, that she was just trying to make sure we felt like we were getting to know her. But it really led no where, just sort of talking about the same thing ever session, not really delving in depth into the issues my child was having. I told her that my child and I would chat after therapy just to touch base and make sure everything was ok and I felt like we should start getting to talking about the issues, and she stopped me and told me that we should not ever talk about therapy outside of therapy. I feel that's wrong, it's my job to make sure my kids ok. She got upset and immediately referred us to someone else...
