Telehealth sinus infection
Telehealth
This was probably the worst encounter I’ve ever had with a provider at CoxHealth. I was seen for what I know and believe is a sinus infection after having two weeks of a respiratory virus. I was hastily greeted by her on the video and she seemed angry with me because she had a “hard time locating my chart” because it was listed under my maiden name for some odd reason (even though my charts were merged earlier this year and I’ve never had this problem since). She then proceeded to tell me it was inappropriate I was being seen on telehealth and had been told to go back to urgent care where I was seen in the first place. My pcp is out of the country and no provider was available to see me and I was told I could go to walk in or try the virtual visits instead. She did not listen well to my symptoms when I tried explaining my course of events. I felt very disrespected by her. As a fellow NP I would never treat someone this way. She sent me a script anyway but said it wouldn’t help me.

Teledoc for Covid symptoms
VERY rushed, seemed to already have everything figured out before I even got on the call. Put a bunch of things in my medical records which was not discussed with me. Said she would order a Covid test and I would be contacted the next morning. I was never contacted. I will not do the Teledoc thing again, nor will I see this doctor again.
