Dr. Sally Gafford, PHD

It pains me to write something negative but don’t want anyone else to be subjected to this. We sought marriage counseling and picked her as she was the most qualified on paper. She acted as a pot-stirrer, pushing us to argue and did not referee as well as unethically in the direction of a divorce, asking the same questions over and over until we gave her the irrational answers she was looking for. Sessions were so awful I blacked out in one. I tried to talk with her about it, but her response was, “I’m sorry you feel that way” and that she has never been given negative feedback before. We are now doing Gottman and doing so much better but would have had lives blown up and be unhappily divorced if we stayed with Dr. Gafford.

Sally helped my family thru some of the worst time in our lives. Im not sure my little family could have pulled thru intact without her. Her office help is friendly and outgoing as well, she went above and beyond to help us get appointments.
