Aside from my son being born, having Ryan and Amanda as my pain relief and support team was the best part of the day. They were solely responsible for turning what otherwise would have been a scary, painful, potentially negatively life-changing event into a pleasant memory. I was terrified of the epidural because of rather severe back issues but my worry was completely unfounded in Ryan's hands. I would love nothing more than to have him in the room for the next one.
