Terrible, terrible, terrible... what can I say. We went to her for couples counseling and from the moment we introduced ourselves through the fourth session it was so blatantly obvious that she had a bias towards me (the male). It ended when she was reciting to my partner what she felt she was feeling (because she reads people's minds) with all kinds of unfounded assumptions and hasty generalizations that had no basis in reality while smirking at me and encouraging my partner to nod her head in agreement with her nodding hers. Now before you presume that I am the disgruntled partner, I would like to assure you that I realize I am far from perfect and was agreeing with her on much of what she saying. The problem is she would relentlessly attack anything I say. For a mental health professional to try to destroy one's ego and sense of self worth like that is dangerous. I thought about suing her for malpractice for a minute just to prove a point but of course that's not worth it.
