Dr Ludwig is always kind and listens with a compassionate Heart and offer solutions that work!!

I did not find Dr. Ludwig to be skilled at marriage counseling. She asked questions, listened, and was friendly, but did not offer any insight or advice. We were thinking that she just needed time to understand everything, but after 6 sessions it was apparent that we were not going to gain anything from these sessions. Mostly, she let us do the talking, except when she told us that we should get divorced (we were not seeing her for an opinion!), or to express harmful viewpoints about gender roles that made it clear she was unable to effectively counsel us. After several sessions of me bringing up issues and my husband deflecting, she sided with my husband. She stated that I just need to get over my resentment. I obviously do, but the whole point in seeing a licensed counselor is to help guide us to create the environment in which that could happen. Dr. Ludwig was either incapable or unwilling to do that.

As the first person I seeked to help me through counseling and I was left disappointed. Rosemarie Ludwig blamed me for the faulty phone connection (I had made calls without issues), despite that we continued to talk about her availability, and while I repeated the scheduling back to her she became upset said "this is ridiculous," mumbled, and hung up. Finally deciding to talk about my difficulties and having this encounter has closed to the idea of reaching out.

Dr Rosemarie Ludwig has been absolutely amazing. I've had 3 sessions with her so far and I can honestly say she's been very helpful to me. A great listener and she gives wonderful advise. I am looking forward with having many more sessions with her. Thank you so much for actually listening to what I have to say and caring. I look forward to every session!
