Dr. Davis saved me from continuing in a dangerous relationship. She is direct, and a great listener with years of experience and expertise. She helped me gain confidence, see what was really going on and how to progress in my life.

Dr. Davis is easily conned by people. I don’t know why she would give my 76 year old sister oxazepam when these is an alcohol addiction and let her be conned by my sister. This encourages hoarding of the benzo. My sister has fallen many times in her home. Also why she would prescribe a benzo to a person with respiratory depression. Why does she really not know my sister. I’m over 1,000 miles away and cannot help with any of my sisters medical decisions. People metabolize drugs slower when they are elderly why is my sister allowed to become a dual diagnosis patient due to her not helping her with alcoholism or her rx pill combination. She really must not understand meds or therapy. She gives my sister lots of affirmation about how good she is. I really with Dr. Davis could help her with her anxiety, anger and severe depression. Also help her be mindful and forgive the past. Dr Davis is unethical prescribing is dangerous to the lives of her patients. No insight in therapy.

Drug peddler with subpar grasp of psychopharmacology. Then switches them around because she has no idea what will help a patient.
She has no business prescribing Xanax other similar benzodiazepines. She knows better, but she can’t cut it with traditional psychotherapy. Her style is to remain perpetually angry at the husband and devotes her time to fawning over the wife. What a way to build a therapeutic alliance with her couples patients! She is happier trying to get patients to take pills!

I'm SHOCKED at negative comments! I first saw Dr. Davis in the 80's for couples therapy and she helped IMMENSELY! I saw her later for just myself - always helpful!!!

They say first impression are everything, yes, however, opinions should be thought through before putting into print. Going to a therapist is very stressful, you may go to several therapist before you find the one that will work with your personality. I have been seeing Dr. Davis for years, she has filled a huge gap that was taken from me at a young age. At one time there was a confusion with appointments, I left, angry and hurt, I stayed away for years. My emotions caused this, not her!

Please do your self a favor and find someone else. She is downright mean and condescending. Diagnosed me before I even explained myself. Said I was a victim and seemed to want me to remain in victim status. Instead, I came to my senses and dumped her.

She should state up front that she will not treat smokers. It would have saved me a month of searching for a therapist.

Horrible psychologist. Went for couples counseling. She immediately grabbed onto spouse’s complaints and became her champion without listening to anything I said. After about 4 sessions, she advised that she couldn’t work with us anymore because she was experiencing counter transference. Something from her past that she was unable to manage therapeutically was causing her to have negative feelings toward me. Good that she raised the issue, bad that her own disorders interfere with her work.

Very unprofessional, does not return calls and when she does she’s very rude and downright mean. We had a question understanding her insurance policy and she told me she is an in network provider for our provider but due to them not paying enough she is choosing not accept their insurance. This is understood as a provider has the option to accept whichever insurance is beneficial to them. I would not recommend this Dr.

I can't tell you whether she is a good therapist or not. I called her office on 1/12/17 at 3:50 pm, and left a comprehensive message and request to make an appointment. As of this writing - 1/20/17 at 4:05 pm - "Doctor" Davis has still not had the courtesy to call me back. A good therapist would recognize the potential messages to a prospective patient when not returning the call of someone in need. No wonder she has so many negative ratings.

I saw Dr. Davis for several appointments, she seemed alright at first. Then she acted unacceptably, I arrived on time for my appointment to find her on the phone with another patient, it was impossible for me not to overhear the entire conversation, which took up the first 10 minutes of my appointment. Then for the next 20 minutes while I am trying to talk about my issues she is constantly looking at her smartphone and texting people, at one point she asked me how to send a photo in a message.
