I am a 35 y/o single mom going through a tumultuous divorce with a very controlling ex who created a lot of trauma that was affecting my quality of life in a deep way. I have 3 young children and came from a family who was similar to my ex - very emotionally abusive. Dr. Valdez saved my life in many ways! I was walking around in life with so much unresolved trauma and I had no idea how to fix it, I had searched for answers for so long to feel at peace and at ease to live my life happily with my children and move on from my toxic family and ex - Dr. Valdez was the missing piece! I am so so grateful I found him, he is a brilliant therapist who is extremely good at listening, guiding, and identifying the deepest trauma so that I can HEAL THEM ALL. I NO LONGER live in a triggered state, I am happy. Dr. Valdez is one of a kind. If you are ready to heal your deepest traumas (whether you see them or not) he is the amazing professional to get you there! Without a doubt, I highly recommend him!

I am a Iraq Veteran with PTSD and family issues. I have been seeing Dr. Valdez for a long time. He in very short words is the best psych counselor for PTSD that I know. I advise every Veteran to pick his brain and ask for help with everything you can imagine. He got me out of the gutter and now I am 100% service connected Veteran because of him and his help. F.A. I am a Kuwait Vet. Dr. Valdez has helped me with PTSD and family issues and my anger. He is GREAT! You get out of counseling what you put in. Sometimes, a bucket of cold water sucks but it is up to you to process and implement change. He is direct. He is straight forward. Sometimes it is hard to hear the truth but it can hurt but you know what you can heal. Just talk, don't be a coward and DONT walk and do not be afraid to be vulnerable. Talking about trauma is hard but if you can do it, the trauma will become weaker and that in it of itself is healing.

I think my visits at his office are productive by giving better insights into my PTSD issues. He is easy to talk to and understands trauma and its effects on individuals and family with the symptoms. I would recommend any person to Dr. Valdez and also military who have PTSD. K. Cronk.

My wife has a chronic disability requiring lots of care. I am her primary caregiver. Dr. Valdez has been very helpful to me by providing cognitive behavior training with good advice on how to cope with the stress and challenges of long-term care. He is a very good listener and provides compassionate, professional advice. His knowledge of local resources that are available is also very helpful.

Dr. Valdez is the WORST therapist I have ever been to. I went to him searching for communication help with my husband. My husband has had a stroke, and I have tried so many ways to make things better. And Dr. Valdez made everything worse. He is NOT HELPFUL. The words he said to me were unbelievable. Don’t waste your time.

Dr.Valdéz did an excellent job helping me return to work when my employer send me to a mandatory fit for Duty evaluation. He expedited the process and did a great job working with my employee assistance representative. Dr. Valdez is easy to talk to and very informative about each step of your treatment.
