Dr. Robert Selbert, OD

My experience with the doctor was good, although it did not result in a prescription that worked. I brought the glasses back and had the doctor read an old prescription. The office staff sent the glasses back to the lab, but never advised the lab of the Rx change. I paid copays to the office. That was in Feb 2023; it is now 6/20/23 and still have not received the glasses I paid for. To date they have not (and will not) return the copays or partner with the lab to get the glasses I paid for.

I would recommend Dr. Selbert to my family and friends! His staff was very pleasant and getting an appointment was faster than I thought it would be. I've seen a couple of reviews about his staff not being friendly... maybe it was the customer that had the problem with being friendly.

Dr Selbert is terrific. He has a thorough knowledge of his field and has a caring manner.

I brought my Mom for an eye exam and new glasses. Dr. Selbert was so thorough and patient. The choice of frames was great and we left thinking this was the best optical experience ever. The staff is so knowledgeable about insurance billing and easy to deal with over the phone. Easy parking and access which is important as my Mom is in a wheelchair.

I am a new patient of Dr. Selbert's. He is an old school Eye Doctor and he is very thorough. This won't be your typical in and out visit, but this Man is phenomenal. I have gone to other more "mainstream or well-known" places and found the service to be lacking. I found Dr. Selbert through my insurance as he is the only PAR provider in my home town. I am so glad that I was forced to change. I am a Registered Nurse and work with many health care professionals. I wish they were all as personable.

This guy is the real deal. Old school eye doctor. Excellent doctor, so happy with his practice. Can't say enough good thing about him.

The staff is very friendly, happy to help and you can tell everyone there is very enthusiastic about proper eye care without being pushy! We needed to get right in, due to running out of contacts (oops) and they got two of us in the very next week. I couldn't have been happier with their service.

I'm only leaving a review because of the previous negative review. I've been a patient for a few years. Good office. I go in and they are friendly and I get my exam and glasses and am on my way. But when I needed my prescription to get safety glasses at work I called and they were very pleasant and mailed me my prescription to my house. I didn't have to go in or pay a surcharge or anything. Googling to get the phone number I was surprised to see the low rating, and even more surprised to see why

Dr. Selbert is thorough, patient, and precise. I recommend him to all my family and friends!

The doctor will not give me a copy of my prescriptions for contacts or glasses. The contacts that he wanted me to try did not work for me. I had to go back to the office and he charged another $60 office visit!
