I was fortunate to get an appointment with Robert. He was extremely professional and offered me the counseling I needed to be able to get emotional and spiritual relief from the grief that I was experiencing. I was also given the time off of work needed to begin to heal and get through the extreme emotions of the loss of my Mother. Dr. Gurnee's office does NOT accept insurance and will NOT diagnose ANYTHING (except your wallet) unless you come back for 2-4 hours of "testing" which is also cash only and not covered by anybodies insurance. If the testing were industry standard or conclusive, insurance companies would already cover it and there wouldn't be any need for the consult. ADD Clinic is basically a scam, find a psychiatrist that accepts your insurance and don't waste an hour of your day getting to know Dr. Gurnee.

Waste of money. He literally yawning like 6 times during my first session and apparently at the end of the session he handed over loads of printed materials. During the whole session he was like - I don't really care whatever your story is..But we will fix your problem in our clinic if you attend 10 sessions. The only caring question came at the very end was what is my mode of payment like cash or card. Wow..
