I’d recommend requesting a different midwife if you don’t want to be treated like a child, ignored, and treated like you’re generally just an inconvenience while just trying to get proper medical care. She doesn’t listen, is rude, and shouldn’t be in this line of work.

I have never loved a healthcare provider more! Rita will take time to listen to you and do anything she can to address the problems and take care of you! She is seriously amazing!! I am from Dalton and started seeing her as a teenager for my yearlys. I moved to Knoxville later and drove to dalton to see her for my appointments and deliver my son with her bc she’s that amazing! I cannot say enough good things about her!

Rita-Marie delivered both of my babies and I saw her for most of my visits. She is always booked up but well worth the wait! She was so friendly and personable and made me feel like a superhero each time I was pregnant and in labor!

I took my teenage daughter to her for menstrual related problems. I understand that it was my daughter who was the patient, not myself, but she is a minor (for at least a little longer) and I am her mother. I was treated like an inconvenience who had to be tolerated. Rita didn't even look at me when I asked a question. My daughter had never had a full pelvic exam yet Rita took her to an exam room and did one without me being present.
