I went to this doctor because I moved across the country to Cashiers and needed a doctor in my area to continue my SSRI prescription. I have never had such a horrible experience with staff at a doctors office. I called to get my refill on a Friday and they said they'd get it called in. I called back again before the end of the work day and they said they'd take care of it before they left the office, realizing it would be the weekend. They were also aware both times we spoke that I was out of my prescription and needed it refilled asap. I went to the pharmacy to discover they still hadn't called it in so I called the doctors office and they were closed. The after hours called the nurse and the nurse told them that I would either have to go to the ER or Urgent Care and pay for the appointment to get my prescription refilled since they won't call in prescriptions after hours. Or I'd have to wait and call the office back again on Monday. An SSRI! Why pay to have a doctor if they have you

Richard Wayne has provided excellent physician services ever since his employment at this facility. I have never had a problem in obtaining an appointment with Richard. I find him very engaging & displaying empathy when under his care. He is very knowledge in diagnosing medical needs. I will continue utilizing Richards services.

My wife and I have had 3 horrible visits w Wayne. My 1st visit was about a referral for a psychologist w/in the practice. He accused me of wanting drugs. The 2nd visit was bc my wife couldn't get to her Dr./Midwife an hour away. He diagnosed her horrible, infected mastitis as "hormones". My wife suffered for 2 days before her doc saw her. Her doc was LIVID and promptly called the practice to complain. Unfortunately due to character limits i cannot give enough detail. He is a horrible cold man.
