Could not really remember anything
Did not really remember the details of what I was sharing, and that was a dealbreaker for me. I also think she was not up to date on working with people who have trauma and attachment issues.

Would not recommend.
Tried to tell me after a few sessions to manage some personal issues in my life that I had multiple personality disorder and would need multiple sessions a week. Went to someone else later who actually just helped me sort through it.

I went to Dr. Sabo many years ago after a traumatic event. However, my symptoms mostly stayed the same and for a while got worse. This is normal, I know, but after I moved away and went to a different therapist they exaplined to me that dr sabo had used many techniques that were considered outdated and wrong like hypnosis and some kind of re-experiencing drama, that had actually retraumatized me. Please go to someone who actually knows what they are doing and has up to date techniques at their disposal.

I went one issue from my childhood, and she was a kind of weird with all kinds of regression hypnosis to my inner child while holding "grounding" crystals and stuff. If thats your thing, thats great, but it not for me.

Very "nicey-nice" in a kind of phoney therapist kind of way, but seemed a little like a zombie and not very genuine underneath it all. Seemed like she was going to fall asleep. Was not very able to understand/respect my sexual choices and felt very shaming/pathologizing about some things like that and other ways I lived my life. I went to her on a recommendation of a family friend when I was new to PVD but had much better therapists in the past.

I saw her a few times but it was not very helpful. She could not ever remember the name of my boyfriend and I think confused me with other people she had. When she put me in at the same time as someone else she didnt even apologize, and was late a lot of the time too and seemed really scattered.

I went to her for counciling PTSD and ended up feeling worse. She said she was an expert on that but the stuff she did "re-traumatized" me according to someone I saw after I moved. She gave me very bad advice and it messed up my relationship. Going to someone else instead made things a lot better and my relationship too. That other councilor said she was doing malpractice. Plus her office smelled weird and she always late.

Saw her for a while and in retrospect she made things a lot worse, kind of feel like she took advantage of my time and money. Years later I went back to therapy with someone else which truly was helpful, and that person actually helped me see how unhelpful she was.

Went to her many years ago and found a lot of her techniques very strange (hypnosis stuff) but went along with them. She told me it would be ehlpful at the time, and that I should come more often (!), but I actually was a lot worse off for a while. After I moved another therapist who was way more helpful told me a lot of her methods were outdated and she was doing them wrong not to standards. Needless to say, the last therapist was a lot more helpful and I didnt get worse but am doing great now

Disappointed in what I got after a recommendation from a trusted colleague. Didnt seem very bright, overly focused on just one thing, was a surprisingly not good listener for someone in her job.
