incompetent
I did have high hopes for Dr. Marshall in regards to seeing what has happened to our child and doing what is right. Unfortunately she she is not competent to do what she is hired to do. She was hired to do a custody evaluation to find out what is going on. Unfortunately she will not call out what things are even after psychological evaluations have been done. Due to possible backlash from a parent or from other members of court doing the wrong things over the years which have not been in the best interest of the child. She needs to brush up on subjects like cross generational coalition (which she missed along with previous evaluator), enmeshment, dark triad. She needs to be able to see the whole picture. Understand why a family is in and out of court many times over the years (other get things wrong) . If custody evaluators like her are not diagnosing things it leaves the court with unclear visions of what's going on in the family even after 17k evaluations.

Dr. Marshall is a neutral, unbiased professional who is not afraid to identify and attempt to solve problems. I met with her individually and with my ex about fifteen times, and had several phone calls. She responds to phone calls promptly. She worked hard to fairly solve problems. She attempted to phrase issues in a way so as not to upset anyone, but if that failed, she got straight to the point. If you see her, expect to be uncomfortable and get problems solved. I didn't always "get my way", but I was impressed by her skill, work ethic, and confidence in high pressure situations.

She does not deserve any stars. We were forced to use her as a "court appointed family therapist" and as other reviews here stated; she is biased, does not look at all of the facts, lies to attorneys and Judges as well as clients. Avoid this unethical person as she is the worst at her profession.

This woman is cruel and mostrous at her profession. When I was 11 years old and was going through a time where I disliked schoolwork and was having typical tween angst, she convinced my parents that I was a dangerous threat to them and advised them to restrain me to a chair in the dining room and withhold normal and healthy activities and all social interaction until I complied to their demands. This "treatment" left me isolated to the point where I began self-harming, and she told them to send me to a RTC if I tried to argue the treatment. She made my mom, dad, and myself think that I was some kind of monster because of some autistic traits and normal developmental behaviors, and it crushed my joy of life. I proved her nonsense to the contrary when I went to high school and outdid my classmates. I am now on the road to going to a very good university. If you love you child, please keep them away from this woman and allow them to hit developmental milestones naturally.

She is the worst psychologist I have ever seen. Very unprofessional and incompetent, with partial judgement.

I would definitely not recommend my family or friend to this psychologist. She is not only incompetent to see through truth in the big picture but also she is unethical. She asked so many details about other people’s personal sexual life, intruding people’s personal privacy. She would be a disaster to rely on for objective judgement.

I agree with the recent reviewer as our experience with Dr. Marshall was also biased, a nightmare that has hurt our family deeply. She did not adhere to court orders, does not remain neutral, behaved in an unprofessional, incompetent manner as she does not follow guidelines set clearly before her as she makes her own diagnosis, ignores documented facts as judgment ensues. We do not recommend her and our experience is that we spent thousands to discover her incompetence, poor communication, dishonesty, inappropriate behavior, lack of respect, and most of all, she didn't respect the child's best interest as the priority when making reports, recommendations as should remain neutral. We trusted her and now left with such frustration and disappointment in utilizing her. I find myself warning others to save themselves the nightmare we are enduring as we wait to bring legal action against her with clear evidence that supports our current reality. Our truth and evidence speak for themselves.

I highly recommend Dr. Marshall if you are looking for an in depth and detailed custody evaluation. Our report was close to 40 pages long and she skillfully assembled context to aid the court in determining what is best for my children.

Our experience was awful! She not only billed us three times the high end of the estimate, she also held the report hostage until it was paid in full...almost $13,000! Once we had the report we discovered what a biased hit-job it was. She didn't interview ONE person on our party's side. She was completely rude when we met with her, wouldn't look me in the eye or shake my hand when I introduced myself and said hello. Her report was sickening and got it COMPLETELY wrong. I've had other people ask me to contact them because they have had other sickening experiences. My advice? Run as far as you can from Regina Marshall. She is tearing families apart and is completely incompetent.

An excellent psychologist who is deeply devoted and has an end-to-end understanding of the court and custody systems. She has been the one person in this process who is firmly in command of what she is doing. If you are in a custody situation, I recommend putting Dr. Marshall in the most prominent role possible.
