Dr. Rebecca Rudd, PHD

Becky is very skilled and has been the best therapist I have ever had.

I first visited Dr. Rudd when I was experiencing a major crisis in my life. After I explained what seemed to me to be insurmountable problems in life, she immediately and compassionately described to me how these problems can be systematically faced and seen in a different light. When I then came to her with my partner for marriage counseling, she still compassionately but firmly described her methods and told us if we wanted to be separated, we hire a lawyer, but if we wanted to stay together then you work with a therapist with proven methods. Dr. Rudd is highly studied and her record clearly shows that. She is the only counselor we have worked with who had a clear 'plan of action' that did not lead to forever needing her counseling, but working together to need each other instead.

She is very compassionate and cares about her clients. I am really glad I found her practice. I recommend her to others.

Not good. When the councilor throws her hands up in frustration saying 'I cannot help you', you know she is in over her head. The scheduling was pain-you have to log onto a calendar and try to find a date that is available. Overall, the least helpful experience I have ever had. Marriage counseling is the most challenging, and couples who seek help need to be able to balance the needs of both people, realizing one method may not work for everyone. Four precious months of work down the tubes.
