Dr. Rachel Oppenheimer, PSY.D

I don't understand the poor reviews but everyone and their experiences are different so I will say that my experience with Dr Oppenheimer was extremely refreshing and she was very easy to open up to. I'm very cautious about people and letting them in. She was engaging and understanding and I would be very optimistic about my future if she was my doctor full-time. Thinking about it after saying that I'm really not looking forward to meeting another Psychiatrist. Just go in and meet her and be honest, you'll be in good hands, I know I'll never probably talk to you again but thank you for showing me there's some good Doctors out there that actually care. I wish you all the best.

Horrible experience. She twisted things I said to meet her agenda. When I refused to return, she called me and screamed insults at me. Then she sent me a bill for the phone call. When I started seeing a new therapist, she called the new therapist and wanted a copy of my new records without my consent. Don't waste your money. Very unprofessional.

The rudest, most egotistical, hostile, arrogant therapist I have ever had the displeasure of having contact with. Combative and aggressive with staff and disrespectful. Would NEVER refer anyone to her

I have real feelings of displeasure, disgust, & disappointment in reading the context of her psychological eval. Things I already knew about myself, she magnified maladaptive behaviors, she used some selective listening, place all blame on me for where I am today, and biggest didn't ask questions for my choice of words. No ref was made to the fact that skills weren't taught 6 hours, I bet a very small % of Clin Psychologists could really get me. I know my challenges and I will learn to adapt
