Our experience was very negative. My member previously saw another provider at this practice. When she left, he began to see Ms Holzhauer. The level of care, concern and attention to detail dropped dramatically. With COVID, they are only seeing patients via video. How can she prescribe amphetamines, anti depressants and other psychoactive and controlled substances without an exam? No blood pressure, no weigh ins, no way to see how the patient is doing. Extremely irresponsible. Medical staff should be on the front lines for their psychiatric patients during this challenging time. All other doctors are. At this point, Ms. Holzhauer's practice resembles a prescription mill. Perhaps needless to say, we found another professional who would actually see a teenager in person before prescribing serious drugs to a teen.

I must admit that I am completely disappointed in the care I received today. The provider I saw was condescending and kept asking me if I wished to transfer care to them. I also asked about testing and I was told on the phone that the cost would be a certain amount only to be told a completely different number today. When I asked about the discrepancy the provider offered me a $20.00 discount. I’m sorry but this is not how a medical office should be run. They were quick to ask about my financial information but their care was completely lacking. It’s sad that this is the state of mental health care. You have to pay out of pocket for sub par care. I would not recommend this practice unless you have money to throw away. I also see the owner’s responses below to other negative reviews which shows that she is also condescending. :(

I met Rachel via social media networking and have been very impressed with her warm and highly engaging demeanor from the very beginning! As a mental health provider, it is imperative to make solid, quality connections with those in the field in order to provide superior service to our clients. Rachel is down-to-earth and offers a nonsensical approach to mental health so that it is easy to understand and implement. I HIGHLY recommend using Rachel and/or any of her associates!

Doctor does not take any insurance. When I called to ask if she took my insurance I was told yes but that I had to file it myself. My insurance did not cover any of my visit and I had to pay out of pocket. Also the doctor ran my debit card without my authorization.

Rachel was very helpful for my family. She got my daughter in the day after I called. She allowed my daughter to send her a text message and she responded to my email within in minutes. I've never felt like a provider was more "there for me" than Rachel has been. I highly recommend her.

spent more time with me than any other psychiatrist I have ever seen. Felt like she really listened to my concerns and took time to really talk to me about medication options
