I was prescribed “v” at the end of November last year. I have been trying to get off of it since February of this year. From the beginning, it made me sick. I reported my side effects and it didn't seem to matter and was downplayed quite a bit. I was sweating like crazy, having awful nightmares (terrors), feeling dizzy and nauseous every day. I had to leave work multiple times. This drug is knowingly very addictive (short half-life) and once I expressed these side effects and that I wanted to get off of it, I should have made her listen. I have been HOSPITALIZED TWICE for extreme adverse reactions to this medication. It made me EXTREMELY SUICIDAL and I am now on FMLA because I missed so much work with being sick. When I expressed that the side effects worsened significantly when going from 150 to 75mg I was told it wasn't possible for me to experience withdrawal symptoms 'at this point'. Well, it was.
