Dr. Pooja Kadakia, OD

My eye doctor retired and Dr. Kadakia is the new doctor in this office, so I decided give her a try. At first there was confusion about the price of an eye exam and what the exam entailed. I was told it was $160 for contacts and $250 for more tests, but no one could tell me what these tests were. When I arrived, the office was empty yet I still had to wait 30 minutes before being seen. The exam consisted of the tech taking photos of my eyes on 3 different machines. The doctor then saw me and asked if there were any issues, made me read the chart, said "better or worse" two times, and then put a light by my eyes. Asked me if I had my contacts and box so I had to go back home to get it, which should have been told to me before booking the appointment. She said legally she needs to see the contacts on the eyes but didn't have samples. She never dilated my pupils, checked optic nerve, glaucoma test, or field of vision test. By far the worst eye exam I have ever had. I won't be going back.
