Piera has made several condescending comments to myself and other patients throughout the pre op process for bariatric surgery. She doesn’t care to take her time to listen and connect with patients … instead she pushes her personal agenda. I wouldn’t recommend.

Piera is very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. I did her detox and lost 25#, she taught me clean eating and explained everything to me, educating me on every aspect of the lifestyle change. I highly recommend.

I recently met with Piera to work on healthy eating. Thanks to her passion and knowledge, I have been able to reclaim my diet. She was very thorough and I liked how she went above and beyond my expectations. With her support, my energy level is up and my weight is down.

She is definitely knowledgeable and even holds seminars about the dangers of sugar. HOWEVER, as a dietitian working with the UofR bariatric team, I was completely put off. First, she had my medical charts mixed up with someone else's. I get that people make mistakes, but that could have led to a real issue if I hadn't caught it. Second, I have NEVER felt more disrespected or looked down on when dealing with a medical professional. She seemed annoyed that she even had to deal with me.
