He didn't contact my counselors for verification of a mental illness that he made up because he didn't look at my counselors notes, or he didn't want to acknowledge abuse on the victim. He didn't even take the time to contact my counselors. I had a lawyer with over 40 years experience tell me he wouldn't trust Dr. Book to tie his shoes...that says it all.

Dr. Book is a very nice guy, but he doesn't take in consideration reality for the child. He has made reccomendations that it would be in the best interest of the child if they waited until they were around 8-12 years old. (The child is 3). The parents do not have a single CPS case against them. They do not have a single criminal charge and the father is a disabled veteran. Dr. Book has lied on several statements he made in the meeting and cannot be trusted to act on behalf of a true reccomendation.

Unfair to take a child away in Boise, ID – Feb 26, 2020

I would give him negative stars. He is very biased and a liar. Very money hungry if you will. He told us one thing in person but something totally different on paper. He ruined our relationship with our daughter who is being alienated from us by her grandmother and her boyfriend. We have lost so much time with her because of him. He wanted a transition period to take 7-10 years and is not pro-parent/child relationship at all. He lied up on the stand when there were six people who confirmed what he told us in person. Favors one side because of money. If you want to save yourself and your family stay away from him. You have been warned.

He never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself. He is straightforward with a huge dose of kindness! He is open minded and patient. There were times I truly resented his ideas but they were exactly what I needed,to begin feeling and living again. Dr. Book was a great blessing in my life! I will always be extremely grateful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Book is stellar in many ways. He is kind and caring, but direct. I have only had Dr. Book tell me the truth. It is not always what I want to hear, but what has helped me in my ventures. Over my life, he has provided sage career and other advice, he has helped me focus on tasks, and I consider him a true expert in the field.
