Dr. Peter Powers, PHD

Went in for a psych evaluation at the suggestion of my therapist. Doctor Powers confirmed with his office staff that I would not have to pay out of pocket for my visit multiple times before the appointment so i went along with the assessment. Next thing you know I receive a $500 bill in my mail for the eval. Instead of owning up to their mistake they said take it up with my insurance company.

Wonderful ongoing support from Dr. Powers. I have been disabled due to treatment resistant depression since the early 1990s, so I have seen more than a few providers over the years as I have had to move frequently. Now, I'm retiring and I can live where I want, and here it is. Dr. Powers is a very experienced and knowledgeable mental health care providers. In my own case, he quickly had many actionable items which needed resolution; items that his insight gathered about me quickly and accurately. His professionalism and military bearing meet the highest standards, and he has tremendous compassion while not losing concentration on the aspects of my diagnosis which can be as improved, as much as possible. Dr. Powers has also helped me find some medical help in the area of needing a therapist. I can't recommend Dr. Powers highly enough.

Dr. Powers is very thorough in his testing, even my son's father, who specializes in data analysis, was impressed. We finally got affirmation of ASD, which other therapists had missed. He also gave us direction as to next steps, much appreciated.
