Dr. Patrick Ethel-King, PHD

We were very disappointed with him. We went there for adhd testing. At least that is what we were lead to believe when speaking to the receptionist. It was any thing but that. He basically told me my son would “fail” the adhd testing because of the way he was acting during the appt. Dr King made us feel very uncomfortable. He told me if my son keeps hitting kids at school then one day he will hit a kid with an older sibling who won’t want their younger sibling getting hit and they will want to beat my son up.What professional talks like that. He also was talking about charges being pressed. He was only 5. It was truly an awful visit. He lacked compassion and empathy. Please do not go see this Dr. Please do your research and look elsewhere.

The office staff is incredibly nice, helpful and informative. As a person of color, I appreciate their understanding of different cultures and would highly recommend NHWS to anyone Looking for experience therapists good quality therapy.

I have been a PTSD patient for 8 years with Dr. Ethell-king, and he has helped me a lot.

We have been to many psychologists and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. The office staff acts is if I am trying to get in touch with the president! You can't contact him directly unless they hear you out and deem your request worthy. He took months to get me my son's report and then charged me $30 just to make a copy of it. They nickel and dime you. After a $2000 eval, he found my son had the same diagnosis he had before. The whole office acts superior. Waste of time and $.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! I am unable to comment on Dr E-Ks clinical abilities but I hope that they are better than his administrator abilities which are awful. He was nothing but intimidating and dismissive when I inquired about "fees" that the office was charging every patient on top of their co-payments and was unable to explain what they were for (well he said it was for the electronic medical records and to pay someone to call my insurance company), a shady practice.

The receptionist has a horrible attitude and treat you as if she is doing you a favor. 2. They called to tell me I had to get them my paper work to them that day which was 9 days prior to my appt.
