Firstly - she put me on Hormone Replacement drugs before I was in menopause. She did not bother having blood tests done to see if in fact I was... I wasn't. Secondly - I sent her a packet of information from Aetna about appealing a denial of coverage for two of my Rx's. I spelled everything out for her but she called me and asked "what am I supposed to do with this?". I said you would know if you had read it, to which she replied "how do you know if I read it or not? I said, because if you had, you would know what to do! Besides it's your job. Of which she replied, "it is not my job!". It says prescribing doctor needs to contact Aetna and explain why this medication is necessary. I mean, give me a break. At the end of our conversation she told me I was abusive with her and she was firing me as her patient. LOLOLOL 3 - I was appealing them because they were very expensive; just find out, the same drugs were available on their formulary which would've been covered.. $1,000 later! LAME!!
