My husband suffered from depression most of his life, and Dr. Berne helped him more than anyone. He was her patient for about 10 years before he died, and she was a godsend to us in managing his mental health. All of our family have gone to her for one thing or another, and all have been helped in dealing with relationships and problems. Highly recommened!

Dr. Berne is calm and understanding, and is able to give advise on difficult situations, and concrete ways to deal with challenging people in our lives.

Quite difficult to get in touch with her. Perhaps a hair outdated in a few views/practices, but open and understanding with LGBT patients.

I've seen Dr. Berne of and on for over 10 years. She is very professional, an excellent listener and very non-judgemental. While I frequently want her to just tell me what to do, she makes me come up with my own plan, which is probably the best, just not the easiest way to go. I've learned that change is a long-term project. I've made significant improvement with her help over the years. If you are serious and are willing to do the work, then Dr. Berne can help you.

Dr. Berne is fantastic. If you're a member of the LGBTQ community you couldn't ask for a more thoughtful and compassionate therapist. I've recently come back to therapy. I saw Dr. Berne dozens of times a while back and our most recent session was as rewarding and comfortable as all of those preceeding sessions. I can't say it enough, Dr. Berne is fantastic.
