Literally Changed My Life
Telehealth
I have seen Paige Lynch for counseling off and on for over 6 years. When I first came to her, I was stuck in a bad job and some deeply codependent relationships. For the first few years, we tackled my more present-day issues with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Over the last year and a half, she has helped me unpack my childhood trauma and manage my C-PTSD through EMDR therapy. I had been skeptical that it would work, but it has actually worked incredibly well. It's as if the wheels of my life finally started moving forward again. And I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for her.Paige is incredibly professional, empathetic, and patient (see the 6 years it took me to get to this point for proof). And I am very grateful for all that she has done for me.

I did a phone consultation with Paige to see if she could help with suicidal ideation. She was very attentive. I told her that I think about suicide whenever someone asks if I am thinking about suicide. She then asked me if I was thinking about suicide, and stated that talking about suicide does not make people think about suicide due to the "many many papers" on the subject. I have not found this to be the case personally and requested she link me to one of these papers. She said that I would simply have to trust her authority and recommended I do group DBT therapy. She further said that I should not talk about my suicidal thoughts in the group because it may make others think about suicide. I pointed out the contradiction at which point she ended the call. I found this therapist through Secular Therapy Project so I was under the impression she would hold evidence in higher regard. If you prefer evidence instead of argument from authority then I don't recommend this therapist.

I have been seeing Paige for almost a year, and have never experienced anything less than kind and compassionate care. She was incredibly understanding with her sliding scale when I went through a period of pay cuts at my job, and was willing to do whatever I needed to continue sessions. I have referred several friends to her, and they have experienced success with her as well.

I've been going to Paige for over a year and a half now. I've seen many counselors, and I've never been to one for so long before. Her commitment to your well-being is unmatched. She is fair with pricing, and encourages a continuous negotiation about it. Her sliding scale is based upon need, and her value far exceeds how much I can pay her. My life has improved dramatically since starting therapy with her. I cannot say high enough praises for the good she has done in my life.

Paige completely bait and switched with pricing. She could never commit to a fair appointment time. Her "sliding scale" is a joke, only there to lure people into giving her personal information. She is hateful in email and phone correspondence. Overall terrible experience and I wouldn't suggest anyone disclose their private thoughts with her.
