Noel Ferrer, PA-C

I came to have some moles removed and my appointment was mixed up, Noel and her assistant worked me in and I was relieved and impressed with both of them. The assistant I did not catch her name, but she was so professional so friendly and so nice and she was working with the boot on and was in good spirits with a boot on her foot. Noel walked in, explain everything in detail, and her assistant followed up with expectations after having the moles removed. Noel let me know what she was doing next how it was going to feel how she was going to help me be still, it was just a pleasant, professional, friendly efficient speedy experience. I would recommend Noel and her assistant to anyone who is looking for a professional, friendly experience.

I’ll start by saying the staff at the Lawrenceville office were very pleasant and fun. It was the Christmas season and everyone was filled with the holiday spirit EXCEPT the PA, Noel Ferrer, who “kind of” examined me. She had the attitude of the Grinch; no warmth, no smile, and no personality. She glanced at my problem foot, on her way in the office, from about 8 to 10” away. The spot was so small, unless she had x-ray vision, I don’t know how she even got a good look at it. I asked how she could tell what it was that quickly. She replied, “That’s what we’re trained to do.” Obviously, she wasn’t trained in bedside manners! She rushed through the appointment, seeming to barely want to answer my questions. If I have to go back, I DEFINITELY would not use her. I see why her calendar was empty and was easy to get an appointment with her if she treats all patients as she treated me!

I think she was knowledgeable and worked quickly through the exam, almost too quick. There was conversation between us. She was explaining some things to me, but I had not been in there for a year. Just a little more time would’ve been appreciated . But I would not have any problem whatsoever with her as my dermatologist

Appointment went smoothly. Exam and procedure handled expertly.

She new what she was doing and went to work finished up quickly

Noel Ferrer and her capable assistant gave me excellent professional treatment during my visit. They were attentive and answered all my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly in the future.

Easy in and out. Noel explained everything that she was doing and how to see improvements on my behalf

I gave Noel a typed summary of the issues I had; 1 - rash in my pelvic area and 2 - bug bites. Even though the rash was on the note and I mentioned it twice, it was not addressed. I left thinking the med she gave me for the bug bites was for the rash also even though she never mentioned the rash. Med is not working for rash so I will have the make another appointment for something that should have been addressed before. She did a good job with the bug bites.

She is professional, prompt and just darn good at her job. Excellent communication skills and knowledge base.

Noel and team were Great!

Despite arriving at incorrect date, they were able to work me in. Extremely competent and helpful staff. Dr. Ferret and her assistant were were very pleasant, and I left with a positive feeling.

I was seen quickly and Noel was able to answer all my questions with a treatment plan going forward.

Fast, polite, friendly. Just a great experience!

Presented several treatment options, listened to my concerns, showed deep subject matter knowledge. I would have guessed she is an MD and not a PA. Came across very caring.

I waited 48 minutes past my appointment time then asked how long it would take. Was told they were "running behind" and there were still patients in front of me. No mention of a huge delay when I checked in nor a courtesy call to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I chose to leave. My time is valuable. I would not recommend Advanced Dermatology. My family will not go back.

Only because our primary care referred my husband to a dermatologist did we go. The area he was concerned about was an old surgery site. When Dr. Ferrer came in, she did not introduce herself, did not ask us questions, except did we want to do a skin check which I thought was a good idea since we hadn't had one in several years. She then proceeded to take biopsies from two sites on his head without asking us if we'd been concerned about them. When I took the bandages off the next day, I was surprised to find that the two sites were not places of concern, but rather simply sores where my husband, having Alheimer's picks at himself. They weren't anything new for him, as he does it all the time. If I'd had my head on my shoulders I would have said not to do the biopsies. I'm not upset, nor am I angry. I only wish I'd had more conversation with her before she did it.

I went in for a normal exam and to talk about my acne. She did the exam, took one look at my face, and prescribed me three prescriptions without talking to me or asking me any questions. She talked so fast I could barely understand her. I asked her multiple questions to try to figure out how the medications would help my issues and she couldn't give me good answers. In one of her answers she even admitted that she didn't know the answer because she didn't have any information about my acne history. Instead of asking about my history or trying to find out any information, she left the room. My time with her from her walking in the room to leaving lasted about 10 minutes. I do not recommender her to anyone that is actually trying to solve their acne issues.
