Do Not Do Family Therapy
Telehealth
I endured one vrtual family therapy session with Nickia Lowery, LPC and I found her to be totally unprofessional from the beginning of the session. Let me explain why. She connected to our virtual session five minutes late and without apologies.When I questioned her about her itinerary for her therapy session 'process', which she kept referring to repeatedly, she looked up in the air and said she hadn't come up with one yet.The entire session from that point on was a total disaster and clearly biased, possibly from her own past traumatic experiences. Physician heal thyself!I expected so much more from her, after researching her qualifications through Google reviews and various psychology websites which she is affiliated with.I walked away from our paid, virtual family therapy session with absolutely nothing at all, but my voiceless, defenseless and angry tears.Of course she gets paid by our medical insurance anyway, so why should she care about the outcome for EVERYONE!
