Nevein Elagamy

I first observed Nevein working with a resident in the courtyard of a memory care facility we were considering for my parents. Observing her broad smile, encouraging words, patience, and kind demeanor, I knew immediately I wanted her to work with my parents. They moved into the facility shortly thereafter, and I immediately filled out the paperwork to secure physical therapy. Her services have been what I hoped for and more. My dad can be a challenging patient, but she expertly used humor, enthusiasm, and patience to encourage him to try new approaches. He has made much progress as has my mom. Nevein’s knowledge of the body and techniques to improve musculoskeletal issues is superior. In the 4-5 months she’s worked with my parents, she’s become more than just a physical therapist. She’s a teacher, protector, counselor, cheerleader, and friend. She even got my dad up and taking a few dance steps again! I highly recommend Nevein and her expert services!

From the initial visit she was an open but knowledgeable professional in all aspects of the treatment. Her communication skills were amazing. She used written information that allowed me to reinforce the therapeutic treatments at home. She a very attentive & caring person with great listening skills. The PT listens to the patient and is compassionate and non judgmental. She has a variety of suggestions. Her manual lymph drainage is a big help and she is able to work wonders.

This doctor is comfortable using her first name and makes the patient feel comfortable as well. Navein is a friendly, caring, and quite knowledgeable doctor in the field of Lymphedema and does a masterful job with the gentle massage and the wrappings. Her method of teaching the patient how to make the most from the provided wrappings and the professional ones ordered near the end of the intense care cycle is a gift and a much appreciated one.

Nevein taught me so much about my condition. I learned how to manage my lymphadema. She is friendly and made me feel comfortable at each visit.

I have been impressed with the care given to me in the last weeks by Ms. Elagamy. I feel that I’ve received not only the best patient service I have had through some traumatic times but also the level of her knowledge is unbelievable, and her attention to detail is something I have not seen often.
