Urine culture tested positive for bladder infection. She noticed my colonoscopy showed I had pockets in my colon, that could trap seeds, nuts, etc... She went to press on my lower abdomen and I cringed. Knowing it could be painful, I made a face. She insisted we go for a cat scan and hospital, and we were going to wait until we didn't have to go through the ER. She scared me into going then and there, by saying my colon could rupture overnight. Then, I would have to have part of my colon removed and be in the hospital a week. ER nurses gasped when I told them, and ER attending physician apologized for her being overzealous. I did get anti-biotics for UTI and diverticulitis, just in case. $4,000 visit for a UTI.
