Intuitive Empath & highly compassionate
I wish all therapists were like this. Some can be more superficial and surface level, but Dr. Schmidt observes & gets down to the root cause of your trauma while making it interesting and not painful. Sometimes therapy can feel boring or like a chore, but here I always found hidden insights and valuable knowledge. It is refreshing to find someone who is more holistic. The receptionist Jen is very friendly and welcoming. A safe haven for healing. Thank you.

I would actively NOT recommend this practitioner for people with ADHD. Nate does not believe it is a genetic and structural disorder. During my session, Nate especially told me he thinks it is misdiagnosed PTSD or a symptom of childhood trauma. I left my session feeling deeply shamed. Nate might be a good practitioner for depression or anxiety, but not ADHD. This was my worst experience by far in over 10 years of seeing regular therapists/psychiatrists.
