Nathan Miner, PMHNP

We've seen Nathan for two of our children now, and every visit, he continues to impress me. He spent in excess of an hour with us, listening to each aspect of our story and the behaviors our daughter has been exhibiting over the past 4 months. He asked insightful questions, discussed the medications she had been previously prescribed with us, explained the changes he was making and WHY. This gave us the opportunity to discuss things that we hadn't thought to bring up and he continued to iterate with us until we came to a consensus of where we currently stood.

Nathan was 10 mins late to his first apt of the day. He didn't know why we were schd via My chart so I had to re-explain my symptoms that I answered previously via Mychart. But when I started to explain my symptoms he then all of a sudden knew about the meds I have been on for yrs & disagreed strongly with them. He was crass, blunt and arrogant. He smugly cut me off as I tried to ask for help with my symptoms and said he'd refer me to scheduling so I can see a psychiatrist. I don't recommend anyone who needs help to see this nurse. It is humiliating to share personal feelings with a health care provider only to be blown off and dismissed. He is not qualified to help a person with mental illness as he made me feel worse. Our conversation was scheduled for 40 mins but it only lasted 8. Please beware. As a side note, I was assigned this NP by PPG after my Dr of 10 yrs retired. I should have known better.
